No Word From The Dealer Yet!

Hey guys ,will you please quit your bickering(flame2) Someone has to be the bigger person and just let it go.If this $hit keeps up ,the mods will move this thread to Flamewars(bicker) I just wanted to drop back in on your thread(IT USED TO BE MINE:'( )and let you guys know that there is no new info on my MSP!The dealer won't be checking it out till tomorrow,so if they find something I'll be sure to drop in on YOUR THREAD and let you guys know . Till then i just want to know

In my numerous reads and and posts not to mention phone conversations it has come up that even a boost controller can't stop a 1-2 PSI creep from time to time and the electric ones are worse then the mechanical. This is straight from Spoolin so don't flame this as my point of view only.

My EBC does great. when I turn it off I get some boost creep. from 9psi to 15psi. When its on its great, no boost creep at all. when I'm running insane boost I do have trouble holding it at 20psi then it wants to creep on me.

MOTOR UPDATE!

OK,it's official,my motor and turbo are done!Just got off the phone with the dealer and they said they tore the head off and VOILA! the head and piston are destroyed!They think a peice of schlage broke off inside the motor and got into the combustion chamber and just tore the $hit out of it!It was about the size of a BB(from a BB gun)and they think it came from an internal weld that just broke off.Obviuosly a manufacturing defect.NOW here comes the problem,Mazda is flying a rep. in to look at the car and determine what they are going to do about it.The dealer told me that it definately needs a motor and turbo but they are not sure how Mazda is going to go about replacing it?The dealer is trying to get a brand new full motor and turbo to drop in,but Mazda may not allow it:wtf: If Mazda doen't put in a whole new motor the dealer will have to order all new pieces individually(head,short block ,etc.)The dealer also told me to expect this to be a long drawn out process because of Mazda!He said they have no prob getting it done quickly if Mazda gets them the parts.There in lies the prob.He doesn't think Mazda will be too speedy in it's process.Well,that's all I got for now .I'll update as i get new info!

Sorry to hear that man!! Mazda is indeed slow. Took them a entire month to get me a new turbo. I was lucky though the car was still driveable!

Matt, Call Mazda and b**** up a storm, every day, call the reagonal director for Mazda in your area, call your local news, call everyone and anyone you can think of bro. Trust me, I had an issue that was not resolved in 5 visits with my last car, and a few hours worth of calls got it resolved the next day.

Demand the Mazda Reps name. According to my info they are the ones that fully OK a repair.
In this situation demand his name and number. Also I think the idea of writing to local papers, news agencies, and even to the district attorny is a great idea.
Get the District atturny involved becuase you paid for a MSP not a neon.

Hey you guys i don't need to take it to that extreme yet,my dealer is being supercool!They know it's a mazda ****-up!I even talked to them about putting in some new goodies while its apart.(hmmm...wonder what they might be???)If this tells you anything,my dealer is installin Spool turbos on new Protege's!They just said that Mazda has to look at it first and ok it!

Psifactor you are wrong. MAZDA has done enough with the car to make it safe for our boost level's. didn't you hear me say it has a overboost protection fuel cut. You need to do some research or at least have some clue about what you are talking about before you make opinionated statements
