Body-colored molding.

Anyone think of painting the gray molding around the car to match the body?
I've seen a few Volvo XC-90's with it done and it looked pretty sharp.

Maybe I'll try and Photoshop something up when I get home from the office,

Just wanted to throw that out there.

Opinions?

I think its a great idea! I wonder what the cost associated would be....if possible at all.

04/05 Allroads offered matching body color and cladding too and I really liked it.

Just have to worry about chipping, which is why most cars are unpainted at the bottom. Needs a lot of prep and special bonders and paint, also.

I'm no expert, but this is what I ended up with.
White because that's what I'm getting
pic is of user vanessamac's CX~9 from picture thread (hope you don't mind!)

Pretty nice photo work.

I think all paint looks too much like a Venza. But if you like it, might be interesting. White will show a lot of wear, though.

I like the darker bottom. Nice contrast, and makes the CX9 look lower and longer. Especially on that beautiful white one.
