CX5 with BlueTooth and Droid Razer phone. Origionally I was able to pair up the two and make/recieve phone calls. I has some problems with names so deleted paring, change names on my Smarth phone and now I am unable to Pair up. I have tried 3X times and was not able to pair. I had the Bluetooth setting ON and my cell was within 12 inches from the Mazda screen. Also asked once if a number was correct and I hit yes. This happened the first time I tried to pair. Suggestions? Help please. Ed Hayes

Go into bluetooth settings on both the phone and the car and delete the pairing. Then restart your phone to ensure that it has "forgotten" the connection.

When it reboots, on the car, go to bluetooth setup and add new device. Once the CX5 shows the screen that it is searching for your phone, go into bluetooth settings on the phone and both make your phone visible to bluetooth connections AND search for devices. The device Mazda should appear, tap that to pair. Confirm the pairing code on both the phone and the car, like you did before. The phone may also request access to your contacts and messages. I suggest allowing the access if you want to share your phonebook with the car.

The CX5 might take a minute or two to download all the data, but it should work. If not, it's hard to troubleshoot without having the phone in front of me.

Hope this helps.
