BLUETOOTH COMPATIBILITY ISSUES - did you know they have a website for it?!

Hi,

well this royally sucks. I just found out why my phone (samsung S2 LTE/SKYROCKET) has compatibility issues with my cx-5... there are actually a whole whack of phones with compatibility issues, mine just happens to have quite a bit of compatibility issues. I strongly feel this should be disclosed prior to buying the car. it's very disappointing to find out my phone has BT compatibility issues with the car until after i've paid for a 35k (cdn) car. hopefully, they will resolve it soon. as it stands when i spoke with tech, they feel it is a phone design issue, and not a mazda tech issue. I think this is a bit arrogant (although they guy I spoke with was nice enough) as they have tonnes of phones listing compatibility issues. Am i supposed to get a new phone just to accommodate my new car?! or how will i know if my next phone is compatible?! It creates doubt and doubt lingers...

anyway, here is the website (which was only given to me after I brought it into service and the tech said 'we don't deal with BT issues')

good luck!

if it is Mazda's fault then why do some work and others not work? I guess Mazda could make their system more forgiving to the quirks of the phones but still sounds like it is the phones that aren't quite 'right'.

Can you tell me what kind of compatibility issues you have with your Samsung Galaxy S2?
