When you first turn the car on the blue coolant light always comes on and shuts off within a few minutes, Is it normal for that light to come on every time I start the engine? Is it best I wait in idle until the light shuts off that way I know its all warmed up ready to go? What do you all do regarding this?

I usually wait for it to turn green before I go since I associate the color green with go. Not sure what others do, I am interested in knowing as well.

BB33 stop clowning around bro you were already banned once for opening up a thousand topics getting answers and going onto opening up topics about the same questions all over again...

the answer to the blue light question is right in the manual, and I think in the quick start guide. You should really give that a read. In short, it means that the engine has warmed up sufficiently for the heater to work, etc.

It means your CX-5 is a fish in need of water. It notifies you to drive into an open (deep) body of water ASAP.
