blown tranny

i blew my tranny and i was wondering if any one knew of a used one for sale so i could pick it up and get my car going again. please let me know asap

is it just the LSD which is known to go out and usually covered under warranty?

I don't get it, usually it's one part that breaks either the gears or the diff, if your making enough power to break you might as well upgrade. What mods have you done to your car to have broken the trans? I'd say it's repairable just need to find out what it is and get the right parts. Did you ever service the trans?

lol he car is stock. the clutch went and i made the misteak of driving it home one day aut 40 miles and then tried driving it to the place where i was going to fix it. i found a used one for about 1300 so by the time i fix the gears and what not i an just get another tranny.

X2. Whole tranny???

Everytime something broke in my tranny, it was one thing. I went through 3 3rd gear shift forks, 3rd gear synchros, but not the whole tranny.

But, now I must say that my tranny feels as if it falling apart. every gear is nothcy as s***. Sometimes it grinds going in first from a stop, reverse, I can possibly say that My whole tranny is going though.

i knew about the tranny and should have taken the time to fix it when it was still good but i let it persist and i paid for it in the end thats all

I'm pretty sure you can find a regular trans and put your LSD in it. I'm not too sure what the diference is other than that, anyone know?

i believe a regular 626-mx6-probe-protege 5 speed tranny won't allow for the lsd...but i'm not really shure

i have a 626 open diff and is running strong
