Blown motor!!!

so i was getting off of work today and my motor decided to go out on me i think i threw a rod through the block but im not to sure yet till it gets all checked out but im thinking of doing a small build what do yall think and recommend?

Yea I kinda hope I don't need a new block when I looked under it it didn't look too good but ill keep it updated .

So they have it all torn apart and the problem was in cylinders 4 the rod came apart from the piston some how and punched a whole in the block so now I'm going to need a new block any suggestions on a good strong decent priced block ?

I blew mine the day before x-mas as well. I have looked and seem to not be able to get over the price of used engines and building a bottom. Cylinder #4 and 2 bent exhaust valves as well. Almost wonder if we can build a na bottom end with aftermarket internals for the FI motors and slap the turbo head on and call it a day.

Yea I am looking for just a cheap block just to get it running and sold I've had a lot of problems drive train wise with my speed so i don't want this to become my money pit .
