blower motor not working???

Ok guys, let me tell you this weird problem i've been having recently. Its very cold over here and i can't get my heat to work because i think something is wrong with the hvac. In the summer if i tried using the ac itd just blow warm air out, i thought it might have been the freon, it could be that still but idk. Anyway now that the winter is here I try using the heat everyday and of course it blows out cold air. Now here is the strange thing, recently the hvac control for changing where the air blows out from like, feet, windshield, ect. was stuck. Like it would mayb move 2 places and then it would just be stuck you could onlyy move it to those 2 spots. I tried reallly hard using all my strength and the thing finally gave and now it seems to move around correctly, idk why that was happening. The thing is it still blows cold air in the winter, anybody have any ideas? The control for hot and cold moves just fine, but i put it all the way to red and of course it doesn't do a thing. Anything is appreciated thanks

my blower motor is squeeking a bit since its really cold out in our area now but mine works.

Have you looked behind the dash to see if your control cables are still attached?

with the blower motor check your fuses and does it sound liek the blower motor is running?

The cable from the control to the wheel under the dash was messed up. Forcing it was a bad idea, you may have snapped off the connector at the wheel. There are many, many threads in this forum on these controls. Look in the How To section for the instructions for disabling the automatic AC on - there are pictures there showing how it all goes together.
