thanks. do I try this on every gear right?
yes when testing try in all gears...
OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have an announcement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had my EBC installed wrong!!!!!!!!!!! What can I say I have never worked on a turbo and when your on your own, it's trial by fire. My directions came with like 4 or 5 different ways to install on 4 or 5 different types of acutautor wastegated turbos. Well, I choose the wrong one in the end....
I now have that fixed and have steady boost perfect!!!!
In Addition, I was wrong on the readings...
ok, here is the correct way, atleast that is what the guy who fixed it said (JDMSAM) Bastard of all people to figure it out !!!!!!!!! Actually he is real good, but you pay the price heavy becuase he will bash your ass and rub it in. Which, in a way is good becuase once he is done with you, you'll never forget what to do after that!!!!!!!!
ok, even though the directions in the manual are a little vague and misleading here is how it works for me after Sam and I finished testing...
I have my readings set to PSI.
the number in the
set adjustment is a value and not and actual numerical representation of PSI. I was correct on
gain it controls how fast your turbo will spool up to the set boost ratio. I was right on the
warning level it represents PSI, but the
limiter number actually represents a percentage and not actual PSI. So for instance if you have 10 set in the
limiter it will reduce your overall current boost level by 10% once you reach the
warning level PSI you have set.
so here is my setting as of now to reach 9-PSI with almost no boost spike I mean smooth as a babies ass and holds like a b**** hanging off a cliff, for dear life!!!
here are my settings for steady 9-PSI boost level.
set: 28
gain: 22
warning : 12.1
limiter: 10
