Blew My Engine!!!! Pix too!

Well.... I think I did anyhow. I was pullin past a stop sign at school, passing about 4000rpm (throttle about half down) and KaBOOM!!! Then lots of white smoke. I'm not sure exactly what blew, but we found pieces of forged aluminum and a nice long oil slick where it took a dump.

So now we get to play a little game. The game is "Who can tell me what blew up??" The winner gets respect. lol Here's a few pictures to help you identify. More pictures can be posted upon request.

My car is at 43000 miles. No REASON for this engine to have gone the way it did, but oh well. It's at the dealership right now and theyre crawlin under it. This ****** better be covered under warranty.

Real reason to why I got engine management... preventing my engine from blowing up. Added bonus is the power it produces.

So, do you have a wb02 or ems? No? Do you have a mbc with nonstock boost??? If so, im gonna say the reason you blew was a partial throttle boost with no ems for fine tuning, and you detonated.

Nope. No ems. I haven't even put on my Perrin SRI yet. No MBC or EBC, either. Just.... boom.

It looks like whatever blew was right above my oil pan...

Yeah thats what I was thinking myself. The dealship just closed and I haven't heard back yet. The bolt itself is completely twisted and sheared. My curiosity lies with the piece that looks like whats left of a piston.

Yes he is all stock. The only Mod he has are AWR motor mounts. I know cause I helped install them.

Oh yea he has a red strut bar from a P5. Go figure I have a silver strut bar.
