you still selling your bluetooth? (rofl)
Ok well I have a blackberry pearl. And my mom has the new iphone.
I like the pearl, email is a amazing (up to 10 accounts to the one phone) and typing/texting is alright. you get used to it and there are many different options to go about typing. it also remembers words and has a custom vocab list.
the internet is alright, its not the ebst webrowsing but the other options i feel make the phone usable. I would shop around and get some play time with the different phones your looking at. I like the pearl, its small and fits my needs. My dad loves it for buisness because it keeps him busy.
It has multiple different instant messaging program/options which also works with me.
An issue I guess I have is not being to load EVERY website, and the size of the screen when "surfing" the net. I bearly surf because its not the best thing ever. I check movie times and the like and my gf has checked her email on it occasionally so it works but its not super amazing. For web browsing the screen isnt ideal but you live with the size. I am not sure if you have any other questions but many people will probably answer feel free to pm me if you life I guess. Or I will post here.
Hope this helps, now to read the rest of this thread to see if there is anything else I can help with.
The one that was for sale forever.
if i were buying a device right now and internet browsing was one of my desired uses i'd want something with 3g. i use edge and it's ok but there's no reason not to get a 3g device if you have 3g coverage in your areaedge
i sold that a long time ago lol
thanks for the info. I understand about the whole browsing problem but like jared and others posted there are downlodable programs (opera mini) that help w/ this and make browsing easier![]()
Just checking. I know way too many people who didn't buy any sort of data plan and then got destroyed on their first cell phone bill.
When I first got my phone, verizon family plan, I didn't know all the terms and crap since it was just given to me. Anyway I decided to use AIM on the phone for a month and ended up with like 12,000 text messages at a dime a piece. I ended up buying into their texting plan to get out of that bill, which I think is like 5,000 texts and I stopped using the AIM function and only standard text message now.
