Black Gram Lights 57S

Using the tires form the stock wheels. They don't even have 3000 miles on them yet! Have to take them off to get at the TPMS, so I figured I'd waste on these this summer and get new ones next year.
That's cool. Maybe you'll buy the wrong size again and I'll have me some new summers, too. (pow)

Kinda OT, but who knows stuff about powdercoat? I asked the guy if I had to wait, like when you get something painted, before I put my wheel sealant on them. He said they didn't need it, that powder was tough enough and didn't need anything but to be cleaned with soap and water. Will sealant hurt them? I know it makes getting brake dust off way easier, so I'd like to use it, but I don't want to screw anything up.

Nah... that stuff's tough as teflon. You can pretty much put whatever you want on it and it won't hurt it, especially as good as Exotic's work is.

You might want to wait, though. The powder-coating itself already makes them easier to clean, since it completely seals the metal surface and bonds to it on a molecular level. You might not need to put anything on them at all.

What's the size of your wheels?
My friend has these on his LGT and he's loves them. He says that he can feel a big difference between these and the stockers.

If he's going to be using his stock tires, then they're probably 18x6.5 or 18x7, whatever comes on the MS3.

18*7.5

I had them on my MSP (with 215/40 18 tires) and they worked great, so I'm predicting the same with the MS3 (215/45 18). They seem a lot lighter than stock.

They look a lot like the Axis Widetracks I was thinking about, except the widetracks have a large polished lip. I am very interested to see some pics, I think theyll look sweet!

Updated with pics of them on the car! Pics kinda stink, but you get the idea.

Yeah, I know my s***'s dirty, deal with it. I'll be sure to post lots after my first true detail of the season.

Very nice - I like the look. Could you tell me the offset on those and where you bought them? I was thinking of those in bronze for my black MS6.

They're 18x7.5, 48mm offset. I got them from www.vividracing.com. Was so cool, did the whole transaction on AIM!

Question -- If yours are 48mm offset, do you think a set of 18x7.5 with 40mm offset would fit OK on the MS3? I'm thinking they will because they would fit fine, but they would be farther out from the wheel hub. Am I correct?

They would more than likely rub the fenders, especially if you lower the car.
