Thoughts on if these would work for a Liquid Platinum MS6?

I think they would be okay with some color-matching silver lug nuts. I would want something to break up all that black.

I was going to do black lugs, but my calipers are painted a dark grey, which would shine through. I also wanted to do the optional center caps on it as well.

I used to not like black wheels because of the lack of contrast with the tire, but now they're starting to grow on me.
I think those would look pretty good with liquid platinum.

I found some gunmetal open ended lug nuts on SU that I think would look killer with these.

My other choice was the Ultraleggera, but so many people have them in black, that it made me want to consider something else.

Maybe it's just me, but outside of putting them on a blacked out car, I don't think black wheels really look that great on the MS6.

I really wish the RPF1 Type 2's came in 18". I like that style much better.

I just looked those up and don't care for the styling of them at all. There's another wheel they make similar to that available in 18" if you want, I just can't remember the name off hand.

The NT03+M and RS+M are both similar style, but they're both heavier than either of the RPF1's.

The RS7's are a really light wheel too, and remind me of the RPF1 type 2's.

Those aren't bad looking, but I can't find anything but 19" in 5x114.3.

Sorry to hijack your thread.

You going to pull the trigger on a set of RPF1's?

I'm thinking about it. I have a second set of MS6 wheels with Parada Spec 2 tires that I'm picking up tomorrow, and I really am torn about what to do. Just throwing this out as a feeler right now.

My basic requirements for a wheel are:
-18x7.5" or 18x8"
-Black/gunmetal/hyper black
-must be lighter than stock

in person these rims always look smaller to me......18's look like 17's etc.....maybe it's styling or the lip, I dunno?
But they are sweet looking though!

i would look at the silver ones but that is an excellent choice of wheel... should be a nice improvement in accel/braking vs stock

I think the rims from OP are sweeett..

However I don't think they would look good on a silver car.. IMO they would look really bad.. I think silver cars look best with gunmetal or something similiar to that color.. Anything darker just doesn't look right.. But hey thats just me..
