Bizzare Noise

Hey,

I was driving some friends the other day, so there was 4 of us in the car. I was driving fast and going around a left hand bend, when I heard this noise that sounded like something was grinding coming from the left rear of the car.

I know my bushings need to be replaced, but can that be related to that sound? Should I be worried? I was only going maybe 80-100km (5-60 miles/h). No visable damage on the car, but that noise was freaky.

Don't know if this helps, but lately i was experiencing a grinding coming out of the front but it was while braking. It wasn't overly noticable but i took it to the dealer and they said it was probably my wheel bearings. They're on order now from Toronto

nope no fatties in the car. I think the heviest person was me at 180, everyone else is about 5'7 and 150lbs.

If it was the tire rubbing, where should I look? on the inside of the tire? or in the wheel well?

inner wheel well and tire check all over you should see black tire residue on the wheel well if it was rubbing.

My cuz had same problem with his svt contours rear end
