I replaced them with what Mr. Lady hands told me to yes, feels a bit stronger then what is was with the M6 bolts at the rear doors. Still all just for show anyways as the side pieces do nothing.

Show cars gonna show. The flat bronze still looks good though. Are you still happy with that color?

I'm very happy with the the choice and quality of those powdercoated pieces, last year i was ashamed to show anyone my bay since the coated pieces were flaking and had inconsistent color. Now im not worried about it when people ask questions or want to see pieces.

the only things i still have left to change in the bay are the Mishimoto PS can once the fittings arrive, build the mount for my CR3 PCV can and clean up a few more wires other then that i am finally happy, I mean its come a long way.

build related stuff just for JalMP5 and Evan.

Isport CF lip sides were painted today

just need to wait for everything to cure properly before i can wet sand/buff the lip.

going to remove the DG CF spoiler to fit it and the isport lip together and fit it on the car a bit better. None of these parts fit anything like OE.

I'm shocked. #1 - you painted it yourself (though it came out great). #2 - you're a white guy!?

I have painted more than a few things in my days to not be afraid that this would not turn out properly, plus this way i know the CF is taken care of. :)

Well i do have high standards for all work that i pay for and even higher standards when i do the work myself.

I feel the same....however, that doesn't mean I have the skills to produce good work :)

Lip looks great JT. What are you planing to use for mounting? Also, did you paint your filler strips when you blacked out the roof?

I like it a lot. Looks so much nicer with the ends painted to match the lines of the car. Really nice job with the paint too.

Will i agree that it needed to be painted, just to bad it took me more than a few hours to draw up the lower lines so that it did not look funky. Cam i did not touch those filler strips they are the same color as they would be right from the dealer, since its just vinyl over metal like the doors IMO its not a good thing to paint ill just replace the vinyl if needed. The Isport lip is held on with tape, there is all kinds of it already attached and as long as you use wax/grease remove on the surfaces before attaching it you will have no issues.

fixed my piece of junk Isport spoiler, not sure how people can charge good money for pieces that really do not fit properly.

after 5 mins with the dremel

no matter how hard you pushed the pieces would never touch
