Bigger or different sun visor?

Hi

I got my CX5, came from a 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe which I really liked but I was worried the engine would blow up on me randomly..

Anyways, I have a pretty long commute and going home in the afternoons, I have the sun on my left side. The Santa Fes sunvisor was the style that you can pull out to it covers the gap right in front of the B pillar, but now the CX5 only has a little plastic flap that does next to nothing...

Question is, is is possible to buy some sort of extender or another sun visor that will work as a replacement? I searched around a bit but couldn't find anything really.

A good idea but $20 for a piece of vinyl? Could probably DIY something.

The most common DIY is draping a towel over that corner. For a put-together look, carbon felt welding blanket/sheet (cut to size) can block out the sun and the heat. It can be secured to the driver side window the same way. I use one sheet to cover a window in my camper. Clear cord clips keep them in place.
