Hey Guys-n-Gals.....
So I just installed the front brake upgrade. I used 07 MAzda 6i parts. Centric Brand Semi loaded Calipers, Centric Posi-quiet Pads, and Centric Standard Rotors.
Everything fot nicely as described in the "HOW-TO" except one thing..the brake hose.
The hose bolts up to caliper just fine, only it isn't long enough to fit back into the strut tower bracket. I cant have it flopping in the breeze like that. What did you guys do to resolve the issue??
Maybe the Mazda 6 hoses are a bit longer?
Or if I went with Stainless Steel Lines...maybe they are a bit longer?
All I need is about 1 to 1 1/2 inches of length and everything would be perfect.
let me know how some of you resolved this,, or if any of you guys have any ideas , please post and let me know!
Thank you all in advance!

Which hose did you use? You have to watch out for the routing on these. I had a hard time remembering which way everything snaked through when I did my MSP brake upgrade. Also, if you're doing all four hoses at the same time, make sure you don't mix up the front and rear brake hoses. I did on my swap and had to go back and change them. The fronts and rears are VERY similar in both length and overall appearance.

My hoses were only like a half inch or so short. I couldn't get the part of the hose that locks into the caliper bracket to fit properly, so I just zip tied it at an angle. No issues.

yeah same issue... only I'm about 1.5 inches +/-
I am currently looking for a part number that will fit the new caliper and snap into the strut bracket. If anyone has an answer let me know.
Im grateful to this forum, my car stops on a dime!

You should be able to find some longer brackets for aftermarket coilovers, im not sure if they will bolt onto the stock shocks/struts, however with the Ksport coils im using the brackets I had for the brake lines I could bend and were a little bit longer to be able to move them into the position I needed. That might help out but again not sure if it will work with stock shocks....
