Big Brakes for CHEAP!

I ordered my ms6 calipers from nasa, whick im guessing they are going to give me normal mazda 6 calipers, these will still work right?

i would like to do front and back. and them be ms6 ;) ill come up with something for the ebrake cables.

also where are you all finding ms6 calipers and brakets at? and how much do they cost?

im ordering them througha parts store we deal with at my shop.520is my cost for everything you need.drilled and slotted rotors even.

Are you all doing just the front or rear calipers also?

im going to be doing the rears also.havent purchased them yet but maybe in like 2 weeks..i have everything i need at my shop to custom fit the e brake and when i figure out what needs to be done ill be sure to help everyone out with how to do it and maybe evenmake a bracket for the people who dont have access to whatever tools is needed to make such a bracket

Scoping out brake options for my Protege MP3:

From RockAuto, should this do it for the calipers?

2006 MAZDA 6 S 3.0L 2968cc V6 FI : Brake/Wheel Hub : Caliper

A-1 CARDONE Part # 18B5000 More Info {Unloaded; [Caliper w/Installation Hardware] Reman.}
Front Left; OE Metal Piston;Supplied w/Mounting Bracket

A-1 CARDONE Part # 18B5001 More Info {Unloaded; [Caliper w/Installation Hardware] Reman.}
Front Right; OE Metal Piston;Supplied w/Mounting Bracket

$89 each, then source the rotors/pads from wherever? I'm not a fan of the cheaper cross drilled/slotted rotors, would probably just do generics with black hats.

Hey guys, i got my mazdaspeed 6 or mazda 6 rotors today, i asked for the ms6 rotors but i guess the stores will give you the normal 6 rotors. Anyways, check them out, are they the right ones, don't i need a bracket?

I thought I should share it with you guys, I have an 06 Mazda 6 and I recently changed both front brake discs and front brake pad set. I spent around $90.00 on both front discs and approximately $50 on ceramic front brake pad set brand name MEYLE. I think the price was pretty decent and the quality is good. I bought these at qeautoparts.com. I highly recommend this store. Try it out guys. one more thing, ask for a young man named Javier, he'll help you out. good luck and goodbye

what year mz6 caliper did you get?
I asked for 2007 mazdaspeed 6 calipers but they just gave me the normal mazda 6 calipers, im probably gonna take them back and look some where else for the ms6 calipers, i just want it all done right the first time. They didnt give me a bracket either.

Okay, just ordered my calipers for the second time, these are the 07 ms6 caliper part numbers,
Front Right(A-1 CARDONE Part # 18B5001)
Front Left(A-1 CARDONE Part # 18B5000)

I should be parting my car out soon. Keep a look out, I have a working black coated set of MS6 brakes on the car now. I will make a FS thread with them in the next few weeks. :-)

No thanks, I just reordered some new caliper from a site so hopefully they are right this time, what else are you parting out though?

Yea man just the fronts. No one has done the rears yet from what i've read. I will have an FS thread eventually. Still loving the white hotness you got.

thanks dude. pm me with a price you're looking for and maybe you won't have to do a fs thread.

msp 6 brakes

My question is, either MSP6 or regular 6 rotors and brakes fits on MP5 without modifications, I have 17" wheels, other than that, do I have to modified anything else? I'm very interested in doing this since it's time to replace my sloted and drilled rotors.
