BG (ZX2) wheel offsets

The car came to me on 14" steelies; the previous owner ran Falken et42, 15x7 Hanabis...which were stolen just before I got the car from Des. What offset should I be looking for on 7.5" wheels for the ZX2? My understanding is that inner (strut) rubbing on the rear is the biggest concern with this chassis fitting wide wheels and tires. The wheels that I am leaning towards are in the et35-37 range...

If the Falken Hanabi's didn't rub (I assume?) then the new wheels shouldn't because they'll be 5-7mm further away from the strut, right? How much room do you have to play with before worrying about the fenders? Rolling would help.

I forgot. Are you gonna try STS before (hopefully) going to FSP?

Des ran 5mm spacers on the 15x7 Hanabis in back...he had a ton of room up front. The new wheels would be 1/2" wider, but have something like 7mm less offset.

STS for 2008...I have plenty of competition locally.
