Sorry to say but people that owns the MS3 thinks just like the SRT-4 Owners, that they own a better car than everyone elses... sorry to disagree with you but we all know the Mazdaspeed Protege Handles overall better than not only the MS3 but almost better than all of the sport compact cars out there... as simple as that..

LOL i was jk BTW. i have no way of comparison since i never drove a MSP but i know mazdas in general handle amazing. THE MSP just looks like a better handling car

Hm couldn't find the msp on this page, but I think we could all agree the miata would be classed as a better handling car than both the ms3 and msp rigth? Thus.

stock for stock, on a track the overall package of the speed 3 does seem to pull ahead somewhat. AutoX would be a different story for sure. Though even there, driver makes a huge diff. I've only done a dabbling in AutoX but on stock tires I was within 3-4seconds of one of the season champs (found out later who he was hmm) who was running RComps in an ITR.
Either way, they are all mazdas, enjoy your car! I do, every day I drive it.

I'm confident a MSP would just about match an RX-8 stock for stock. Stuff some big ass sticky tires under the 8 and a couple power adders and you've got a hands down winner.

Yes, on a fast track, or in a strait line... you'll smoke an MSP. Same for cargo volume, and I'll even give you luxury (at least you guys got leather, even if neither of us got a sunroof)... but give us the one thing we've got... lol

Well i got leather in mine, 2 tone leather interior from factory.. also like i said the ms3 are faster in Straight line because they came with 93 HP more, i bet if you race a stock ms3 with 263 HP and an MSP with same HP the MS3 will get owned nicely...
