Best Tire size for the msp Racing Hart's

I'll likely be going with the stock MSP size - 215/45r17. 205/40 just had too little sidewall for my liking, I want something a bit beefier. :D

P215/45R17...possibly one of the best tire sizes, for any car, in my opinion. Lots of choices and this size has a nice profile. Tire manufacturers pay a lot of attention to it because of its abundance.

I have 215/40 on my MSP, they look good & work great :D

That's what I had installed on mine tonight. I'll have to find a nice twisty road tomorrow to get some perspective. But that seemed the best option from searching the forums.

i have 225/45/17 on mine, fit good

Do you have any rubbing or did you roll the fender? Also don't the MSP's and MP3's have more clearance than the P5? If not then my next set will be 225's.

hey i was looking through pics of rims with my wife and she for some reason loves those stock msp racing harts cuz they have the lil damn mazda emblem lol. so basically she wants to get those rims. i havent looked into anything about these but they will fit a p5 fine? whats the offset? and there 17s?

If you don't want to have your speedo off by too much 215/40 is the best way to go as I think it's only something like 1 mph off at 60 mph. 205/40's are too small I think and 215/45 is too big in about the same magnitude.
