best speaker upgrade for sport

Hey I am not going to change amplifiers and such but I had some Kicker speakers in my dodge that sounded waaaaayy better than stock. A present from my wiser children. I would like to severely upgrade my stock speakers without much effort{ crossovers and subs and s***} You guys/girls who know- crisp highs and a little low punch. Help please.

no but image dynamics is very reputable and i think it would be a nice upgrade in the highs/mids department especailly over stock.. alpines would be a nice choice too

I would look into some Infinity 6x8"s.

but 100rms is a bit power hungry for factory head unit or unamped =X

the infinity tweeters are harsh. I've heard nothing but bad things...

They were harsher with the stock H/U vs. the Pioneer I installed. Nothing too bad though... and I hate overly bright speakers!
