Best Speaker upgrade for Bose?

Hey guys I tried to search the forum for info on upgrading the Bose speakers for my 08.5 GT with Bose. I couldn't find a clear GT-specific fix. Does anyone have a good shopping list for cheaply upgrading the system? I want to keep it as simple as possible but get an upgrade in sound quality, especially the high's and mids. I would like to keep the headunit, no cutting, and keep the same amp if feasible. Has anyone gone down this road with any success? If I must replace the amp with the speakers to achieve better quality, what setup would you suggest? I would like to keep it below $400 if possible. Thank you.

dls speakers are bad ass =D
just installed some dls 6.5 front and rear on my cousin's accord... even running off factory HU..clear crisp highs/mid's
