all three of the videos are amazing...
in my opinion wrc drivers are the best drivers in the world... even better than F1 drivers...
WRC drivers adapt to the all aspects and go off of just a Nav system and what the navigor is saying... they dont know the course
F1 drivers have their courses memorised and know the speeds to take turns and lines...
but this is an arguement that could go on forever and will probably never be answered

in my old car...
1984 Rabbit GTI ... highly modded ...
i hit a tree at 35 head on and i didnt even chip the bark...
the tree was about 10 inches in diameter if that..
trees are strong ... i reccomend not hitting one... its not fun...

Ouch!!! So, I'm thinking that Rally must have the highest fatality rate of any form of racing with the exception of street racing which doesn't really count anyhow.
Humans are weird creatures. I noticed that in only one of those in-car vids was the crew able to instinctively grab the head rests and hold when the car rolled. Others held on to the wheel or flailed. My fav. had to be the one in the second one where the Navigator held on to his map throughout 3 or 4 rolls. That's a good navigator right there.

i def agree. with f1 or nascar people, if they were driving alone, their wreck rate would be like 3%. in rallies it's really knowing how to handle any curve thrown at you. it's really amazing how ballsy they are. i for one would not have the balls to do that.
and btw great vids! so fun to watch.

I think WRC drivers are amazing as well but each type of driving takes a certain level of skill. More than others but each driver must be almost flawless on any circuit. But think about how much time a F1 driver must take to learn every trun and the percise speed at which to take each turn. The best driver is one who could master most any type of driving
