What are the best lowering spring with less than 2" drop (preferably 1.5- 1.7) which maintains drivability and a decent ride?

that's a subjective question.
the general consensus will probably be the Eibach Pro kit.. or the Tein S-Tech springs

Personally.. i'm going to try Goldlines in the spring

Thanks, It was meant to be subjective. I have lowered 17 cars, only 2 being my own and I have seen springs vary from car to car. I'm just trying to get some feedback b/c I haven't met anyone with a lowered P5. I'm thinking about the Teins. What exactly are the Goldlines (who makes them and what kind of drop is it)? Thanks again for your feedback!

i personally got the eibachs... no complaints here, havn't really compared it to any other since i'm the only one to mod a 6 around here.

I have the racing beats on my Pro... the ride height is almost stock (stock for MSP), but it's noticably tighter around corners.
Goldline are made by Goldline, I believe... I haven't researched them that much as that purchase is like #6 on my list of s*** to buy :P

I got the Eibach pro kit 1.8 all around, and really like it. The ride is a little ruffer but the handleing is a good 50% better. Can't wait to get new swaybars and bushings, it'll be like riding in a F1.
I have heard that tein springs are just as good, maybe better because they are cheaper. I paid 215.00 for the Pro kit but I think you can get the same drop form Tein for 170.00. And not to step on any toes but when I called about the Goldlines the sales man told me the Eibach were better, thats why I bought them. And no he didn't sell Eibach, thats why I beleived him.

goldlines are made by goldline here in the states and they drop the reg. protege 2.0" and the MSP 1.6", they are very well made and i have had no problems with any of them, the only problem is that the drop is to low for some people and they are $140 shipped

Thanks for the feedback everyone! At the moment I think i've narrowed it down to the Tiens and the Eibachs. Thanks again!
