Mazda3 5dr Grand Touring hatchback
Hey Y'all, So i bought an 07 MZ3 hatchback GT with leather seats. It is just over 2 yrs old. I AM looking to condition my seats so they don't dry out and crack. I live in Los Angeles and the sun is kinda brutal. Is it too soon to want to condition my seats? What is the best kind of conditioner to buy for my seats? I prefer one that doesn't leave the seats all greasy and slippery. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I generally just use the Armor All protectant wipes. They'll be greasy at first but just run a paper towel over them after a few minutes and they're fine. I also have tried McGuiers (probably spelled that wrong) leather wipes and honestly couldn't tell a difference and they were more expensive.

I'm happy with Zaino

I've always used the Zaino cleaner & conditioner. Never had any issues and it is never greasy. You just need to work it into the leather. There are otehr brands that people stick by. Just don't buy the cheapo stuff like Armor-All or the like. :-)

Meguiers (probably spelled wrong) gold class leather cleaner/conditioner. I've used this stuff, and it worked amazing, the leather looked 10x better when I was done. Make sure you get the cleaner/conditioner in the bottle, not the wipes, the wipes are greasy and make the seats look like plastic.

The Zaino Z-9 and Z-10 products are the absolute shiznit. ;)

...and as a bonus, the Z-10 smells EXACTLY like brand new leather!

The Zaino Z-10 will leave stains if you let it drip on the cloth, but it is washable with mild soap and water. You apply it with a terry cloth or microfiber towel so it's pretty easy to keep it on the leather and off of the cloth...

Obviously you should try to keep the product as far away from the cloth as possible. I have gotten the Meguiars Leather Conditioner on the middle inserts of my seats and saw no stains after letting it sit.

Leather Master by Uniters has proven to be the best product I stock for leather. Not cheap at all, but if you want to do it right this is the product for you.

i have always used lexol...it works great, but your seats are sticky for a few days...especially if they are full leather, luckily ours arent
