Of all the packages we recieve for our cars, some are more exciting than others. Well, I defy anyone here to reveal a better delivery than this.

Built SpeedCircuit block, 8.5:1 Arias pistons, and Pauter rods. Started with a brand new block right from Mazda. (MSP block as you can see.) Brand new OEM oil / water pump, and an AWR oil pan finishes it off. Still waiting on my Cometic gaskets, then it can go together.

Looks very nice. DO NOT use the cometic exhaust and intake manifold gaskets. They do not work well.

Got OEM Mazda ones. Thanks for the comments guys! As for shipping, I went with a new factory shortblock, so he just used the box it came in from Mazda.

How long ago did you order you Cometic gaskets? I ordered mine last Friday, just trying to get an idea of how long I'll have to wait.

*droools* wow that engine is pristine. Don't you dare drive that car in the winter with that mint engine, it'll get all salty and horrible :(

About a month ago or so...

And ya, my car barely sees rain, nevermind me even thinking about driving it in the winter! :D

if you ever need someone to smuggle shiny bits across the border I'll do it for ya, I'm always looking for a good excuse to go to canada.. can't promise the parts will still be new in box though :D

Why the hell would you need a reason to come to Canada? It's only the best country on the planet!

By good excuse I mean any good excuse. Hell, someone bought a camera from me on ebay and I hand delivered it to them in Toronto just for fun :)

This is a pretty n00bish question but what is the difference between an MSP block and anyother 3rd Gen. 2.0L block?

look how long the threaded shaft is for the oil filter. That's to facilitate the oil cooler being installed there. Other than that, not different :P since all the blocks have the hook ups for oil and coolant and all that.

Oh, before you install the engine, put a block heater in! the stock one is meant to be installed in the freeze plug right near the oil filter, and it's a PAIN to get installed if the engine is in.

edit: wait you don't drive her in the winter nvm
