look how long the threaded shaft is for the oil filter. That's to facilitate the oil cooler being installed there. Other than that, not different since all the blocks have the hook ups for oil and coolant and all that.

Oh, before you install the engine, put a block heater in! the stock one is meant to be installed in the freeze plug right near the oil filter, and it's a PAIN to get installed if the engine is in.

Ah gotcha, I was wondering what that was. That reminds me though - I still need an oil cooler...

hey...

take your time and sand down all rough edges on the pistons, I just received mine and these definitedly need sanding, specially the needle in the center of the piston and the valve cut lashes.
