www.injen.com! best cai!
only true cai!
my LiveOnSpeed one isn't real? it's a replica of the injen, so it must be. or does it not count because it wasn't expensive enough? :P

nono AEM does make a CAI! i have it, but its not set up the same way as the Injen one. The Injen one requries you to relocate your engine coolant container.. the AEM CAI doesnt.

Are you serious? Who has sold a used injen for $150???

I bought a used Injen CAI on E-Bay for $130.00. It was in excellent shape, but he didn't send the "vibra-mount" or the 2 re-location brackets. I easily fabricated both.

EBAY CAI, INJEN CAI, K&N TYPHOON CAI, DIY GHETTO CAI, ebay and injen are the same thing, the K&N gives you the most power, the DIY you mite as well just get a SRI

there is a billion SRI for the p5

you silly goose, are you talking about how the AEM dips down towards the ground but is in front of the radiator fans? it's still a short ram by definition because it sits in the engine bay still. a cai is a cai because it sits somewhere outside the engine bay, like in front of the wheel well in the fender area.

just finished installing my new K&N CAI. Holy s*** does this thing sound awesome!! And you definatley notice improved throttle response. I can get the tires going like nothing now. I'd say the best performance mod for an auto. Well, next to a turbo.

with the injen cai, how and where does it tell you to relocate the engine coolent container?

i saw someone mention that it comes with the brackets to do this...is this correct? and where does it relocate it to?

I have the Injen but go back and forth to a ractive filter: SF007 which sounds OMG great and is protected from dirt and such.

"After you take off the stock intake, there will be a bolt hole right next to where the resevoir bracket comes off, just move it to that hole & youll have plenty of room (youll have to work with the angle & which way it turns to get it perfect but it only takes a minute)." - Protege5online
