Best Bolt-Ons

I tell you what, not anything for power, but the springs, strut tower brace and intake have put a big grin on my face for the time being- gotta get some headers and exhaust next

I have no performance mods done but I should get this? It'd help in the long run basically?

I can get a MP3 ecu for 150, what kind of gains can I expect to get?
There's a member on this forum who has to take his p5 in for the emissions test...I guess having the mp3 ecu in his p5 might cause a problem when the testing computer reads the VIN on the mp3 ecu and it doesn't match up with the p5 VIN. I was thinking about getting an mp3 ecu, but I wanna make sure this doesn't affect the emissions test first...just fyi...(dunno)

It's in another thread...do a search...

Would it help more if I had exhaust, and intake done? Will I get more gains from those mods on that ecu than on my stock ecu?

twilightprotege, since you are the n/a guinea pig, what should i do to get about 150hp to the wheels. All i have planned so far is an intake (either short ram or cold air) and full exhuast, including headers. What kind of improvements can i expect from a new ecu such as the haltech, and how much would one of those cost?

to get 150whp, what you have planned (ie intake, exhaust, ecu) + big cams and you should be there no problem

price wise i dont know as i'm in australia, but for the entire thing, dont expect change from $2.5k.....with the haltech and tuning a lot of that
