I know this issue may have been beaten to a pulp already but i just got my msp and haven't really done any research, but whats the best all around bov in terms of sound, installation process, no compressor surge etc..

well first of all.....(deadhorse

whats the best all around bov in terms of sound, installation process, no compressor surge etc..

Sound = personal preference

install = depends on what u have for charge pipes/flange

No surge/turkey = i personally use a fake Greddy RS, and have little to no surge at all, just had to mess with the settings a lot

So what do u have for intake pipes?

my msp is basically all stock except for the boost is boosted up to 8 psi..ive been looking at the forge bov kit only because it comes as a direct replacement if im correct? and the price is good lol

Yes it is a direct replacement, and while ur at it change all your Vacuum lines out, cause the factory ones tend to dry out and crack causing boost/vac leaks. boost leaks could cause overboost because the Wastegate actuator wont see the necessary pressure to open the wastegate dump valve.

I also like that u are thinking of using a Bypass valve and not a Blow off valve...good choice

perrin also makes a replacement for our cars, it is also a recirculation valve and i believe it is a direct replacement also(anyone chime in if i am incorrect), though it will be a lot pricier. heres the link http://www.perrinperformance.com/products/show/61/Blow-Off-Valve-Recirc-SS?category=37&model=6

yea i know this is all personal preference, its just that theirs so few msp's around. theirs only about 10 tops in the far west texas region lol but yea, im caught between the forge and the turbosmart kompact but i havent heard any of them. so we'll see
