Best air filter?

I thought that K&N were bad because they use oil to trap the dirt and some small particles could get by? Also the oil can mess up sensors?

I've used K&N filters on all of my vehicles since 1987 and have never had any issues, easily over a million miles combined. A K&N filter is always my first upgrade.

AEM has replacement dry drop in filters, meaning you never oil, just wash and dry. i had a K&N in my protege years ago and it worked fine, just dont go crazy with the oil when you respray it. i've seen senors cover in oil, i'm sure you can find some thing on youtube, showing how to wash and spray the filter.
