well i took my car to get a balance and rotation done. they aparently didnt do the rotation and only balanced the 2 fronts. they then told me it wouldnt be much sense to balance out the back since my left rear wheel was bent. then they said, well actually the 2 left side wheels are bent. i wasnt charged for the service, but why would they have said they balanced the front but not the back if they were both supposidly bent? any thoughts here? should i get a second opinion?

If the wheel is bent slightly then they can balance it. If it's really out of wack then like they said there is no use. You can tell when it's on the machine, if the first wheel needed a 2oz weight (witch is pretty big) then it works, if the back one needed a 4 or 5 oz weight then your screwed. They can also tell after they put the weight, if they put the 2oz then it's fine its allright, if they put the weight and then the machine shows you need more again it's screwed. I've balanced many tires.
