Things to come in next month:
Start saving for V6 conversion????
Find a Mazdaspeed motor w/turbo setup?????

Either way most of this is being done because of maitenence that needs to be performed, but I would rather upgrade than stay stock. I will push some pictures off as it progresses. Tell me what ya guys think, things I should know before starting work on some of these items.

as far as the mazdaspeed motor, our motors are exactly the same, you will just need the main bearing support plate or tap into your oil pan for a return line. Just take the turbo and all related parts off of a mazdaspeed protege and you will be set. You will also need the ECU as well unless you plan to use some form of EMS

For sure, Was thinking about that. However, my engine has 158K on it, and wanted to go with something with less miles on it. I dont think a motor with that many miles wll last very long with a turbo lol! Was also thinking of getting a forged longblock and going that route, that way i would have a super strong core to start with. Thanks for the advice!
