I am upset at the people who just bought this car are pissed it's not whooping-up on the EVO's and WRX's. People, if you bought this car, didn't you think to research it before? 170 vs. 227, 276, and 300 HP figures? We have a big disadvatage in HP, but man do we make up for it in: Limited Production (2750), I've only seen two in Tampa. There are like six EVO's on my mil base. Don't even ask how many WRX's. you can't say that for EVO's and WRX's, Handling (Can you say- dang this thing is a handling beast!!!) and monthly payments. I just traded in a modded 2000 Ford Lightning, NOT because I heard this will keep up. But because I wanted a cheaper payment and insurance. I used to blow everyone away with that thing (a "limited 5000 per year" joke!) and now I find myself still having just as much fun in this. There way more competition now. Our cars may not be the fastest, but who can boast Callaway, Streetbeat, and all the huge list of aftermarket mods we have from the factory. I love EVO's and would love to have one one day. But man my monthly payment is to nice. Be proud, put some cash in your cars and mod them out. I want to tell a WRX he got beat by a front wheel drive 4dr protoge' one day. I'm not trying to start a war, but be proud

the thing is ... STI = 30k EVO = 27k (give or take)
just slam xtra 8-12k$$ into the msp ...youll look better and drive faster then them. just my opinion if thats not good enuff for you
or if you have all the money in the bank , suck it up , eat your loss
and by a faster car to start with .
you can easily fix all the annoying things about the msp . cheap
and besides most of the people who got a msp allready planed on ripping it apart from the start.
try driving a s*** box around for 10 years then see how ya like the msp (likemylastcar)

i have to agree with you ODAWG, I love my car hella and we do see too much evo's and WRX's, its all over the place, i have only seen like 4 mazdaspeeds, i don't care how fast the mazdaspeed's are but it got handles! thats what matters too than just drag racing.

AWD is great...but everyone sees it as a panacea. It is over-rated, plain and simple. I'm not saying that it's not good...but out of the box, the MSP out handles the WRX hands down, and is more on the level with the EVO and WRX. If you're only concerned with AWD for winter handling purposes, than you got an EVO or STi for the wrong reason.

I'll admit the MSP has a much nicer look overall then the STI or EVO. Mod for mod however the MSP engine won't ever likely touch an EVO engine... unless someone knows how to get 600hp out of our little babies :/ But in the end, it doesn't matter anyway - I love my MSP for the daily commuter that it is, and that it's meant to be
I wish i could see EVO's and STi's all over the place. I love EVO, I love MSP.

I bought MSP, and pretty darn happy with it.
Maybe one day I'll have enough to pay for an EVO and be able to drive around in my choice of either a MSP or an EVO and take pics of them side by side, but until then, I love my MSP.

and why are most gtr skylines converted to rwd in JGTC???? dont bring professional racing into it cus it depends on rules and regulations.....im speedvision gt the audi's used to murder...not anymore though.....F1 is all rwd and cart is rwd with no traction control...no can we get back to street commuter cars please???
