BC Coilovers issue: Car leaning to left?

Alright fellas...I've had my BC coilovers on since October and ever since I have put them on, the car feels like it leans to the left rear. I've tried adjusting the shocks, messing with sway bar and endlinks and different dampening adjustments, but still can't figure out the problem. Would camber have anything to do with this? Do I need to get upgraded camber links? I am trying to stay away from this if possible because I don't know jack s*** about camber and how to adjust it. I just hate the feeling of it leaning to the left rear, feels like I permanently have a gangster lean on. I don't know if maybe it's just my perception and maybe it is the bad roads here where I drive that makes the car feel like it leans, or if it's just where I am not used to having such a stiff and lowered suspension (I've only ever had springs before, these are my first coilovers) and the car hugs the road more, and where most of the roads are not 100% flat, that I am just feeling the car sticking to these rounded off roads? All I know is it's driving me nuts. I have my rear springs maxed out with both collars still in place. I have the shocks matched to the springs (at least I seem to think that they are). Would shocks not being adjusted right play a role in this and would dampening (1-30) play a role in this? Please help fellow BC coilover owners!

There could be a lot of reasons. Something could be binding, the Coilovers could be installed wrong, or mis-adjusted, one corner (or side) might have a spring with the wrong spring rate, etc. Sway bars/endlinks are not likely the culprit.

Are you sure it is leaning? Just measure from the wheel well to the ground on all four corners, and that will give you a good idea if it is truely leaning or not. Post up your measurments.

Did you do the install yourself? do these coilover re-use any ofthe stock suspension components or do they come pre-assembled? Did you have the car alligned after the install (definately a must)?

I've had the car aligned, yes. Yes, I installed them myself. The rear springs are hard to mess up, they are simply spun all the way down and then installed. The fronts are fine, it's just the left rear. Would camber contribute to this feeling? I am curious to see if any other BC owners have had this issue. The leaning very well could be a figment of my imagination, but at the same time, I never feel the car lean to the right like I do with it to the left. I look at other cars on the road infront of me and they look to be sitting perfectly flat, and I'll look at my dash and the car looks like its leaning to the left in comparison. Drives me ******* nuts.

Camber is not going to cause a car to lean. Take some measurments. That should give you an answer. Maybe you shoulda' had a V8 (the drink not engine)? LOL.

Did you adjust the lower portions of the rear shocks properly?

If you were closer to Sterling I'd say just swing on by and I'd help you fix it.

*Edit*
Measure the rear shocks from the lower bolt to the lower shock body and compare, even if they appear to be identical you may need to extend the left one to correct the issue.

Leans to the left with you inside or outside the car? Most cars usually come with the left side about 1/4" higher, so it balances out when you sit in the car. Why? I have no idea myself.

MM Boost double check both fronts and see if the pass. side is the same as the driver side..I use to adj. the drivers side F/R on my VW alittle higher to avoid the leaning feeling..maybe like 1-1/2 turns to balance the car for my weight.. but in your case you might just need to adj. the drivers side rear up to get rid of the sag..... you also could have a shock going bad.

So is the static ride height the issue or its just a feeling you get while driving?

Its just the feeling that I have while driving. I do believe after taking both my rear shocks back off the car and tightening the top bolts and adjusting the height, then bolting back on and re-adjusting my AWR endlinks and progress sway bar, that the car drives much more neutral now. I took it apart thursday night after the car was driving like s***. My endlinks were angled in and was making a knocking noise like they was in a bind, so i re-did them. The rear camber on my left wheel was kicked out bad...from the back, my car looked like / | thursday when I got home from work. So i took shocks back off and buttoned everything up and made sure everything was tight. Now they sit perfectly even from what I can tell and car drives much better. Sigh, lord I dunno. Maybe my equilibrium is messed up or something lol.
