How to find where other players are playing?
1. Download Xfire & register. Below you will find each player's Xfire alias.
2. Go to BF2 Stats and search for player. If a player is online, it will show they're online & what server under each player's l33t picture.
3. Get HLSW and add Buddy

two things everyone here should do:

1) download xfire (do a google search) and register. it takes all of about 2 seconds. then post your name here (update the first post jliao with that in big bold so that everyone sees it)

2) go here: http://bf2s.com/player/SGTJones97E/ to see my stats and see if im playing online, it will tell you the link if oyu dont have xfire. follow the link in the top left for the BF2 forums, and figure out how to get your own stats, so you can post stuff liek this:

everyone should post that in their post as well...

so two things:

xfire name, and stats link for everyone

I'll just wait for the 1.03 patch with buddy functionality. In the meantime, I'll be in one of those three west coast server. Most likely I will be in Lineage II.

I chose not to install "Gamespy" when I installed the game....was this a mistake? I didn't know if it was another means to find servers and other players or what.

no gamespy is pretty much worthless in this game.

My in game name is xtchellcat. I play on my teams ranked server. Just type =xtc= in the filter and hit update. It should find it.
