Battery/Stall

Hey, its been a while since I've posted on here but my car has been acting funny so I thought I'd post up here before bringing my car into the steal-ership. Every time the battery is disconnected on my car, the first time i run the car after, it idles very low, and acts as if it wants to stall. On a few occasions, it has actually stalled. Shortly after this however, the issue resolves itself and it idles mostly normal again and never stalls. Just wondering if there are some sort of complicated fuel/air ratios or something that is reset, that the car has to adjust once the battery has been disconnected and then reconnected, or if it is something else unrelated. I just replaced the battery today, and this has happened a couple other times in the last year.

Thanks guys!

Did it happen after you replaced the battery ?? .... If not it was just your battery that was not good

If you disconnect the battery without another power source connected it will reset the ECU. So yes it's changing settings such as the A/F ratio, etc. and it "relearns" how you drive. You'll probably also notice a drop in gas mileage for the first 100 miles or so after disconnecting it as well. I've never had mine stall out on me after a disconnect, however it has dropped down around 400 rpms pretty frequently.
