baja anyone?

what what what???????????????
are they going to make our lovely p5 into baja????
why they do that?????????????????????????
people don't want p5 looks like that

actually...

for a while in japan it was pretty "in" to chop off the back of a car to make the car lighter. Really for serious racers wishing to increase their power to weight ratio i beleive.

I think it looks pretty ugly, and they arent really doing it for power to weight ratio it looks like, but there may be purpose to the madness. :p

At least its fun to see what people are doing to thier p5s

I actually saw this car at the NOPI Nats and I personally thought it was pretty cool. It was not finished, but they had in painted in some sort of green primer and they had some extreme skateboards in the back or something like that. The back actually had a floor in it like a truck would. I would really like to see it when it was finished. I have to say though, I have a 240 and saw one converted to a truck one and thought it was pretty cool too, and I have a truck too. I might be a redneck, lol.

Peace
Griff

I'd like to see what the finished product looks like b4 I judge it...but why would you do such a thing to the P5:(

actually what this REALLY reminds me of would be a four door version of the subaru BRAT....that is if you can remember back that far...lol

I too would like to see what the totally finished version looks like.....but I like my little wagon as a wagon to much to ever conisder doing such a thing to her.

Yeah it does look like the brat Sir nuke. BTW what's everyones impression of Subarus newest brat. the new Outback Baja. I am not completely sold on it but think it is kind cool( meaning they still have some more work to do on it, IMO)

Where was this Ballistic P5 at NOPI. I was there both days and thought that I had seen everything. Of course most of that means all of the girls.

OH yeah in the pic what the hell is that thing in the back. It looks like one of those pocket bikes. One thing is for sure if they even thought of hauling around even a half of a full size motorcycle back there they have got some serious engine work to do. Hey wait a minute that could be good for the rest of us huh?

Anyway to each their own and there are definately some creative and BRAVE people out there designing these cars. Thanks for posting the pics, always fun to see concepts, even though most never make it to production.

Personally I like it, its cool! Plus baja........I'm waiting to see a pr5 in W.R.C.! Now those drivers are the sh*t!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT ARE THEY DOING. ACTUALLY THE ARTIST RENDERING DOESNT LOOK TO BAD
(omg)

I don't like the new Baha, but this doesn't look that bad. The rendering looks good. Can't wait to see the actuall finished product though.

Uh...Big,big problem w/ the Pro5 in WRC...P5=FF meaning no power going to rear wheels and it will struggle for control. The Peugeot 206,Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII,Subaru Impreza Ford Focus,Skoda Octavia,Hyundai Accent, and Citroen Xsara are all 4WD,not since the Lancia Stratos has there ever been a 2WD car in the WRC,nice try though!!If you want to see our car in racing check out SPEED's Touring Car races,Roger Foo drives a Circuit City sponsored Pro5.

By the way, that baja crap is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

Whoa! My roomate in college had a Subaru Brat and that thing was tough as s***! I can't remember how many times we had it in enough water/mud to cover the headlights. :) Damn good vehicle, strange looking, but awesome...

As for the P5, WTF?
