Badgeless grill help

The only badgeless grill that I have been able to find are the carbon fiber ones but i've seen a few with theirs solid black instead of the carbon fiber pattern. Does anybody have any clue where i could find a solid black one? Thanks for any help

I bought the ABS plastic one for $89. You'll need to paint it though, it comes looking streaky and if you paint it in the driveway it's tough to get it to look good.

I wanted to make sure I liked it before dumping $299 or more.

Yea I know on there they have the option to paint it for you for $50 more which I was considering. Do you know anybody that has ordered a painted one and can vouch for the quality of the painted product?

The only 'real' badgeless grille is the Autoexe one, which is made from CF. The Nextmod is fiberglass, but a replica of the AE one. I believe the AE runs $388 at most places.

correct and if u buy the nextmod one and paint it the same color of your car..its going to look the same as if u painted ur AE one.. i mean CF is nice but not for that price.

There doesn't seem much point in going for CF, it's not like you'll save a lot of weight or add loads of useful rigidity. Maybe if you had the CF bonnet as well and left both unpainted, it would be worth it.

yea that was my point for the carbon fiber, it is small in the first place so you can only lose so much weight by going with it and the price is way too much. i have the one from speedline and im happy with it. i wanted mine matte black, to match the matte black of the grill, fog light areas, etc. i think it looks tougher. good price too

i have the speedline one, and its a great product. a friend of mine bought his painted and the color match is spot on. all you have to do is send them your car color code.

kind of like the black mica. im sure you can go to a shop and ask for a sample color.
