Badged grills

For those of you that added badges to your autoexe grills, how did you go about doing that? Did you use adhesive?

I was thinking of having clips or twisties in case i feel like removing them, but i wanna hear from people that have already done this

I have the "Protege5" emblem in my CF autoexe grill, and i used heavy duty double sided tape and JB-Weld....it has a nice clean look Ill post up a pic later.

All i did was to take the two plastic pieces off the back of the badge, put the badge through the grill and re-attach the plastic pieces at the back of the grill. It holds it in nicely.

the familia badge? isn't the mesh itself bigger than the plastic piece?

I guess it depends on what mesh you have but not mine, the mesh holes are fairly small so it works great.

actually i just checked my mesh out and it should work

now for those 2 plastic pieces behind the badge.. do you yank them off or twist em? my fingers are already starting to hurt

You just pull em off, may need to use some pliers.

Anyone have pics of this? I know I've seen it, but I'd like to see it in detail. Perhaps one of the front, with a close up to show what it really looks like when you scrutinize it?

hah.. this is my thread. -=P.. i have the mazda badge in mine.. i used some superfuckin apoxy for it.. its a syrninge with 2 sides.. squirt it on carboard an mix it.. then apply.. works well.. if u ever wanna take the badge out.. just get some new mesh.. its cheap.

I also have the mazda badge on mine I used emblem adhesive and a glue gun and that sucker stays on nice while I'am doing 80+ on the parkway. Here is a pic:

don't take my idea.... but I am going to try and do a red "5" from the protege5 badge in the upper right. I thing that will look bad ass.

sidemarkers lights are ebay cheapies with a piece of silver weather striping around each one to fill the gap..
