Back to stock - runs like crap??

I recently moved to CA and changed my car back to stock. For the past 6 or 7 years, I've had a FMIC, short ram, and catless exhaust on my MSP. Now that I've put the stock intercooler, piping, and intake back on, it's started sputtering when I give it gas from idle. Seems like it's just running way too rich. I believe I've reset my ECU (disconnected battery cables, held brake for 10+ seconds, left disconnected overnight), and nothing's changed. It runs, it gets me around...but in stop-and-go LA traffic, it eventually starts to sputter and snort when trying to idle. It only sputters in the ~1000 rpm range...sputters a little and then revs and drives like normal.

Thoughts? Did I not reset my ECU properly? I appreciate any help you can give me! Thank you!

I see nothing out of the ordinary here... A stock MSP that runs like s***? Yeah, it's operating as designed.

sounds like you have a vacuum leak from a loose hose or pipe. just doublecheck connections. these guys just like to complain about the stock ecu, its not so bad that you would have the problem you are describing, unless you are venting air from a bov without relocating the maf.

Lol i just put my msp back to stock and its really bad too. The nipple the goes on the bpv for the hot side pipe might be cracked it is on mine.
