B&M short shifter install

Hey guys,

I just installed my B&M short throw shifter. It's seems OK, but I'm getting some horrible rattle when the rpms go up. It almost soudsn to come from the shift knob but after pretty much taking it apart it doesn't seem possible.

I noticed that the stock bushing was more of a "t" shape, the B&M shifter is round-causing there to be space for it to move on the bolt.

I'm not too sure what else to do. Anyone have any ideas?

I have had a B&M shifter on my car for the last 8 months and I have not had a problem. I would like to help you but I cant think of something for you to do unless you can give me some more info or mabey some pictures. The only thing I can suggest is mabey check the heat shield and make sure it isn't rubbing the shifter.

I'm such a F*cking retard.. I didn't have the bushings inside the end of the rod. I don't even know if I'm saying that right, but when I took the stock shifter out, I kept the buchings in the rod. the instructions were kind of tircky int he fact that the pictures are bad quality and I didn't put 1 and 2 together.

Ohh well, I figured it out and now it works perfect.
