I installed this today. It click into place when i was installing it but, when it is in gear i can still move the shifter ALOT. This does not take it out of gear it just has alot of "play" in it. Has anyone else had this problem? If not does anyone have any ideas.

More play than with the stock shifter?

If it's the same amount of play as stock, then you should get polyurethane shifter bushings to tighten things up. If it's more play than stock you probably did something wrong on the install.

Yeah its by far more than stock, As i drove more tonite i heard a raddle so i tried to push it in futher. Does the ring need to be out before i try to push it in further.

Don't know what you mean by "ring", but here are the similar installation instructions for the TWM shortshifter. Maybe they'll help.

Your right i did miss a step i left the rubber bushings in the stock shifter, Thank you for the how-to.

you can always get the corksport bronzeoil shifter bushings in place of those plastic ones. they work very well and improve shift feeling.

yeah thats what i have heard but i am talking about the rubber ones on the end that the bold goes through. I will have to fix this when i get off work today.

I have the nyloil bushings and was surprised at the difference they made to my B&M with the TWM bushing.
