Axel Problems

Let me talk to the tech whenever Mazda lets me know my transmission is done. He worked on the car before and is the one who told me the differences.

A code was thrown, though. Either that or the ABS light.. It was one of those.
 
when I mean done with the car I mean done. I really just want to get the a/f under control and call it a day. This car has cost me so much money, and getting ready to just say forget it and get a srt-4(no flames please). My last and final mod is a haltech which Ill probly get in the next couple of weeks. As far as the axel goes he couldnt get a price for me today but he did find one from a MP3 for 100bucks. The clutch needs to be replaced to because the pressure plate is in pieces. So needless to say my MSP will be down for a week.
 
if you never want to break axles again, then yes its worth the upgrade. Also if you plan on running slicks or d/r's on your current setup, that constitutes a even bigger risk of snapping the msp axles. The axles that i bought, i cannot see them breaking unless you are running a rediculous amount of power + slicks, rediculous amount of power meaning 450+whp.
 
Man...I had trouble with Axel, too...he just quit the band and took the name. Then he got fat and replaced us all with a bunch of musical freaks/geniuses. But he looked really dumb in those braids...stole Alicia Keys' hair for the night. What a loser...Right Scott Weiland?

As for axle troubles...nothing on my end yet...but I couldn't resist the spelling typo. :) Good info on replacements in this thread, though.
