thought I'd post up some pics and quick impressions of the AWR mounts now that it's a "complete set"

I installed the AWR rear engine mount as one of my first mods back in 2006
it has been there serving me well while waiting patiently for the other 2 mounts to be created/released.

earlier this year the transmission mount was released , then just recently the passenger side mount.

you may select 70, 88, or 95 durometer for you mounts
I elected to go with 88 all the way around

before anyone asks, do these mounts cause vibrations in the driver compartment?
in short YES, quite a bit

do they reduce engine movement?
YES they do
when pulling out easy or aggresive, and when shifting both easy and aggresively...the engine movement or bobble is just not present at all anymore
the rear mounts offered by many do help tame this situation but this set of AWR mounts simply eliminates it period.

I'd say or suggest you go with the 70dur bushings if vibrations and some interior buzz at certain RPM's is going to bother you
but if you are hard core about your set up and want to eliminate your engine bobble completely, go with the 88 or 95(race only)

a big thank you to Tony at AWR for making these mounts for the Mazda community, they are of high quality and until you have them in your possession, install them and use them - You really can't appreciate the craftsmanship of these well designed mounts

also want to sincerely thank Ken at the Protege' Garage for supplying me with the mounts
look him up for a great price on these

I've got the rear lower engine mount. What all is involved in installing the other two mounts?
