awr mounts..

just wondering if anybody that used the awr motor mounts has had the mount....completely break in half? i was shocked to see my motor looking a tad crooked and everything closer to the left hand side (passenger mount) debating on next step to take, kinda lost trust in the awr, any info on the vendor who does not exist and shall not be named? or even the stock mounts with inserts seem like a good idea.

edit* looking for opinions is the jest of it lol

yea this happened to my brother, put the AWR passenger mount in, along with the trans and front, and then one day i noticed the mount was completely broken...
so we had a friend weld it back up, slapped it back on
2 weeks later, broken again, so we just said **** it and threw the stocker back on

not sure why it happened

Ill get pictures up asap, so it. has happened before eh, ill fire them off an email see what they say about it. I think im gonna go back to stocker on both sides and get inserts.

i remember when SLS's mounts were breaking (passenger side only) and they just revised it with a steel bracket and not AL and they had no more issues from what i read on.

But people... you should AWALYS email a company when something breaks. mainly if you didnt abuse it!

im sure its bound to happen every now and then. i doubt any company has a product that will not fail at some point and time. but its very unheard of for awr's. i beat the crap outta my car and mine are holding up like champs for the last 4 years id say. you get a bad egg every now and then. id def email them and see what they say...might hook ya up with a new one or a discounted price. itll also help them resolve any more issues like this if they know of them.

They still might honor it....I bought mine through protege garage. I'm sure them knowing that it's their product and it failed won't matter where you bought it from. I'd have no proof of "buying" mine.

i have pics but i have no idea how to add them, i will add them as attachments,

dont know if i added them properly. also just looked at awr's website and they have a limited lifetime warranty on all theyre mounts (they dont cover the bushing wearing out)

(also i know it looks dirty...and it is)

also mounts have been in less than a year

uhh....am i missing where it broke? my brothers broke right by the first bolt hole and then the rest just sheared off, so that whole part where the mount bolts to the engine was broken off

See the mount on the left hand side, there its actually supposed to be connected the motor, it os just resting beside it, u can also see the angle on the motore in the engine bay pic is a tad angled
