AWR Motor Mount Install

well, i deliver pizzas, so im going to deliver in my mp3 with the motor mounts for a while, and try to get the mounts broken in, i fear the rear mount though lol

ok, im going to sound like a total n00b, but where the hell are the motor mounts?!? i think i have figured out where the front one is, isn't it up under the car on this metal bar looking plate thing, and as for the rear, i cant even see it. im guessing that the car should at least be jacked up to even consider installing either of them

here is the front one

the rear is behind the intake mani, it is a b****. you will need about 20" worth in extensions, a breaker bar and a swivel. Good luck.

i found the rear mount really easy to get off....mind you i had the head and intake manifold out of the car hehehehe. but those bolts were damn tight!!!!!

I actuall y had a lot of trouble with the bolt going through the bushing also. If i had a impact wrench it would have been a snap. I contemplated taking the intake mani off just to do the rear mount. The top bolts werent to tough once i had the right tools.

i had the hardest trouble with the 3 top bolts because directly above them on the australian model is the proportioning valve for the brakes is directly above the bolts

Got mine installed today. Let me tell you a breaker bar, long (20 inch) extentsion, swivel socket, and deep 17mm socket made all the difference for accceesing the rear mount. I also removes part of the exhaust and my CAI to give me some working room. The front was a breeze.
