AWR MM Issues

I installed the 70 durometer AWR MM around 5-6 months ago. In the beginning I was very happy with it, no wheel hop...!!, but a lot of vibrations from the inside. Now it feels if I am driving with a OEM MM, a lot of wheel hop, just like with the oem one, but with the same annoying vibrations. Anyone experienced the same thing? I think I might go back to the stock one. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Many do, but hate to admit it cause they spent good $$ for the AWR mount.

This mod will rejuvinate your mount:

And if you feel like reinforcing your stock mount instead (no cabin vibrations like AWR):

thanks bean, I think I will try the mod on my stock:) hopefully the annoying vibrations will be back, and the wheel hop will be less, thanks again bean

you can upgrade the main motor mounts to the ones used in the MS3 too

B37F-39-040D (#1 engine mount; AWR "rear" mount replaces this)
B37F-39-060D (#3 engine mount)
B37F-39-070D (#4 engine mount)

no one has tried these mounts yet but I'm sure they will fit... the MS3 uses a different tranny so there's a possibility that the #4 mount won't work on a normal 3

#4 is the transmission mount right? I've yet to find that myself. Once I find it and I see that it's built the same way as the rear, I'm gonna mod the hell out of it.

On a sorta related note, what would you say the durometer of hot glue once its cold is? Im thinkin it may end up being a decent alternative to some of the other stuff ppl have used, and it would set up super quick, so people who dont have time to spend car-less due to their mm being out... think ill give it a try tomorrow
