Awesome Motorsports Pictures & Videos

These pics are from the Double cross. They're only awesome as a set. If I knew how to make them an animated gif, I would, but I don't.

There is a Pro Solo event up here in my region on the 21st and 22nd. There aren't any MSPs registered but there is one MS3 registered in DS. I am going to take a lot of pictures and hopefully I can get some nice shots.

My question is how do they run Pro Solo events? Do all cars run in the first day? I only ask because I want to be there when the MS3 runs (it's an hour drive and I am only going for one day). I'll post pictures in this thread or another thread if I get a lot of good shots.
Yes, AM and PM. 4 back to back runs in the morning and then another 4 in the afternoon.

Cool, so the run it more like they do down there in NoVA at CDC. Excellant. I'll head out there in the morning and take some pictures from various places around the track.

Thank you. That's great!

Funny thing is, flipping through them in my photo program, I thought it was more obvious how sideways the Camaro got on launch. It's not as noticeable on the animation.

Edit: it's the speed. When the pics are still loading up, it's much more noticeable how he sideslips in the 3rd pic. At full speed, it's too subtle.

No, literal back to back. It's 2 mirror courses and you run at the same as someone else in your class, then flip sides, repeat. So your 4 runs are typically over in maybe 10 minutes.

Are those 275s front and rear?

Ha! No, they're cantilevered Hoosier slicks on 15x7's.

My first time ever on slicks. Like driving on ice the first 20 or so seconds and then wham, they stick like glue!

Here's me at the Milwaukee Tour this past weekend....
And who said all Honda owners are ricers ... ? ;)

Nice to see a clean looking turbo hatch. How well does it run and how light did you get it?

I remember a guy down in DC that ran a gutted hatch, don't remember if it was turbo or not, but when he would tail brake the back end of the car would pick up and rotate. It was pretty awesome to see.

Wasn't my car. I got thrown into the codrive because I got traded for another tirewarmer. I think the car is somewhere around 2000+lbs. Its got a TypeR motor with a turbo thrown on top of that. 258WHP!

My practice in that car consisted of driving from grid spot to the start line!

This car was set up like that as well. Everytime I let off the gas or brake into a turn, it would want to spin. Freaked me out. I drove like a wuss because I didn't want to spin the car and risk damaging it.

That car is sick! Van, with that kind of power you should have had said screw it... toss it in to the turn and mash the gas to straighten it back out :D :D

I think this one's pretty cool, but I really need to wet sand my hood. That Viper Comp Coupe comes up FAST!
